...
hm
intriguing.
i cant help thinking this whole poem was like one massive metaphor, a metaphor for the people who have been hurt, and are resentful and cautious towards the world and its possible tortures. i loved it.
"I find its secrets hidden.
At its centre did I find a grief
That with simplest touch would be ridden." - wonderful, so touching, so delicate, very tender...a needed kindness.
kuods for yet another great poem.

Great style in this poem. Slightly archaic and...kind of otherworldly.
I'm trying to think literally right now or else this poem would drive me mad... I THINK I get an inkling of what each stanza means (with the help of the summary, too. *laugh*).
Gosh, Noah, you are the Master at versatility. You have your own personal style, but you're able to write about blood and roses in such different ways, too. It's...great. Absolutely. *smile*
Please, NEVER stop writing. (And posting.)

Blood and roses again. Recurrind themes never end uh? I love the depth to the rhythm and the ending is wonderful.

Bless.
