Oh my.. this poem is simply adorable... I have never used the word adorable to describe a poem. And now I have. This is definitely THE most adorable poem ever... and it is so obviously brimming with love, that's it's absolutely beautiful. Amazing job. It's so damn cute!

I remember, on the second reading of this, how the second stanza stood out. Vulnerable, indeed, is how you feel when you love someone...you lay out your feelings and you're so able to hurt words or lack of...
Sweet and cute the first read-through and with the second...more than just the flush of pride of "Another poem for me! Thanks, Noah!" but also...beautiful...reaches deep.

It may have been the music that I was listening to at the time (Bija - Om Mani Padme Hum) but this poem was so bittersweet and almost sad feeling. The language carries this hint of forboding and hurt to it, especially the ending. It's very slow and deliberate in its pace and lends it's self to slow reading. Very nice work.
