Sarah-Brighteyes 2005-08-06 . chapter 1I dont know why but this poem left me wanting more.
I suppose its because you even state, "the cycle starts again" It reminds me of my own fads with knowledge...when I start to get books on astonomy or art or egyptology... each one only lasts a while and then I fall back into wanting something refreshing again.
I know perhaps you were on the brink of having this piece about a relationship... or catching the eye of someone (perhaps) but I guess I just read it to fit me... we all do that you know.
Anyways another very nice piece. Good write. |
Lidless Eye 2003-10-23 . chapter 1This is amazing. Excellent job, I loved the concept you used... very innovative. Hopefully you write more soon! |
glitterjewele 2003-10-22 . chapter 1very good! there was a definte presence to this one that brought it to life marvellously. very easy to see AND feel. i loved the second and fourth stanzas. favorite bits were "the rain is falling apart/sidewalks crumble/leaves curl," and "are we solar systems apart/or magnetized as one?" great ending, too. kudos chica.
p.s.~sorry about the short review, it's midterms week and i'm horribly pressed for time :S wish me luck!
p.p.s.~really glad you're back! ;) |
Brodes9 2003-10-18 . chapter 1 I think i like this poem the best out of all of em. awesome |
Soviet 2003-10-18 . chapter 1Kinda confusing, but still very good, good job |
The Black Rider 2003-10-18 . chapter 1You are easily one of the best poets on FictionPress. You capture so many emotions in such few lines and then have the most extraordinary imagery to top it off. Excellent work here. I was madly in love with a girl at my school a year ago around this time (this inspired the How I Love Thee series) so I could definitely relate, strangely. |
