This made me think of a phoenix, maybe because of the old symbolism of death and rebirth. Wonderful haiku!

Ash is such a beautiful analogy. I love the context in which you used it. There's also a verse in the Bible that talks about trading 'ashes for beauty'. I wrote a song about it once. A very powerful concept! Well, thank you for sharing your poems! You are blessed indeed! :o)
