Oh, I liked this. Very simple and sharp, and your characterization was nice. You painted a very vivid picture of the main character. I like 'Is she brave? Most say she is foolish.'

And as for 'she studied more than she breathed'? I can so relate at the moment. School is going to kill me. It's just that simple.
