Wow, this is a very intersting story. I thought at first when Crest was talkinga bout changing him that she was gonna turn him into a vampire, but i was wrong. This is really good though. I can't wait till you add on.

uhmm... well its safe to say that i wasnt expecting that. and the part about the devil made me go (gasp). and skyler was a scray freakish kid and sydneys reaction to it was waay calm.
anyway. kinda have a question about the extent of the mind-reading powers. can all vampires read each others minds or is it just humans?? and can they read the minds from anywhere or do they have to be really close by?

the serious part of lex made him look a lot like... WHAT? or who?
the lex and skyler brother bit kinda came out of nowhere. crazyness.
im a bit confused about the whole halflings bit. so do humans live in this world or do the vampires smuggle them from the real world? and ya know how before, mephisto was 'eating' that girl, was she from the human world or this world? (sorry.. im a bit slow sometimes).

sorry to be all picky-like, but you kinda use the word 'crimson' a bit too much.

this is really good. i havnt really read too many vampire stories but this seems different and well, different is good.

youve got a really interesting story. i like the characters. youve done a good job of developing them. the dialogue and stuff is good too.
i think you could use a bit more descriptions though. some parts are kinda vague (like here: 'a couple of symbols.' well what kinda symbols?).
besides that, everything looks good.

I've really enjoyed it so far and am looking forward to the next part =^^=
