Christine 2003-10-26 . chapter 1 (Hullo, Auntie Chaos!)
"A wondrous glory, beautiful, horrific,
and awe-inspiring, all at once."
So very true. Gorgeous depiction. |
Sayrah 2003-10-26 . chapter 1 Your style captures the eternal force and will behind your words. The beauty you describe is locked deep within the human heart, yearning to be released, to feel the sun. We all have a bit of Chaos inside. You reach into our souls and touch the button...
A fickle Goddess, whose divine mark
is on hurricane and tornado alike, whose
tempers shake the earth and whose
tantrums rock the seas. Her howl
is in the wind, Her frustrated tears
in the relentless, pounding monsoon.
When I read it...I pictured to myself a Goddess standing on the highest of cliffs above the sea. The waves ripping each other apart, she throws back her head and the wind howls into life, bringing hurricane clouds from horizon to horizon. Indomitable power flows through her.
The bloodred sunset fades into a night pierced by whitehot lightning wrath.
She shall ever stand, empowered, crowned with her fire and water, lit by her brilliant aura of POWER.

"Her howl
is in the wind, Her frustrated tears
in the relentless, pounding monsoon."
The sheer awe She inspires is beautiful and terrible all at once. Very fitting, very well done. |
