Some How I understand this poem on a more personal level as if it were in my own writing

Constructive criticism coming. A haiku is 3 lines, with the syllabic count being 5-7-5. Your poem isn't a haiku, but I'm sure with some tweaking, it could be one. It's kinda cute.

An haiku is a 3 line verse with 5-7-5 syllables respectively. 17 syllables.

It has 18 syllables, so I'd say its clsoe enough.
