You're doing a nice job of incorporating real life with mystical elements. That's hard to do, I wouldn't want to try and do it myself.

I only caught one mistake, that was spelling "heels" wrong. But that was the only thing I saw.

Your description is deliberate but still enjoyable, which is an interesting mix. I can still see what's going on without getting bored by intricate details, even though they're there.

I saw one or two places where you left a letter out of a word, but nothing a quick read-over wouldn't fix.

I'm not sure you really had to use that particular obscenity as often as you did. I know that this probably is actually how street robbers talk, but the less of that you use, the more people can read it. I do understand that some characters do seem to fit with such "colorful" language, though. :P I have one character that does that also, and I'm trying to think of a way to work around it but still make it sound real. Just a different viewpoint.

I'm curious to get an explanation for what a powerful wizard is doing in modern-day settings, though. Keep writing! :)

Very interesting. ^_^ The main character seems like such an **, not your average hero. But what was with the apple? This makes me curious, nya! I really like the descriptions, so dark and cold. Possibly a comparison to the character? I imagined the attacker to be slobbering, but I guess it'd be cold slobber. How would that work? ^_~ Anywho, be sure to keep it up, ne?
