| Lillia E 2003-11-06 ch 1, | that was brilliant. i love the last line, its like the ultimate truth. i hate war, so stupid. anyway, keep up writing, you're awesome at it. |
| Morncreek 2003-11-06 ch 1, | As always, nicely expressed poem. Just a few notes... 1) Sixth stanza, first line - exist is misspelled. 2) There are a few places where the rhythm breaks, leaving some hiccup-y spots in the flow. 3) Opinion Alert! (^_^): Some wars are fought for good reasons; case in point, American Revolutionary War. Don't fret, though. I like your poem! and understand the point you are making. I just disagree with a small portion of what is said within your poem. Have a wonderful day! Btw, will "Rain" be updated soon? |
| Bo N. Arro 2003-11-06 ch 1, | I agree that many wars seem to be pointless. And sometimes even when they are woth fighting, politics change their true intentions. However, sometimes war is the only way a situation can be changed. One definition of peace is "freedom from opressive thoughts." I don't believe that being ruled by a mass-murdering dictator is freedom from oppression... Whereas I don't support war in general, I must declare that I support oppression much less. |
| Zomboy 2003-11-05 ch 1, | The problem with pacifism is that there will always be someone who will take advantage of it. It's like an evil form of "It's only wrong if you get caught". When no one will defend what is right the people who do wrong will have free reign. |
