Wow...I can really relate to this. This can happen even if you're not actually asleep, but it reminds me of a dream I had one time. It was a fantastical saga-ish type of dream, and in the dream I woke up in bed, and then I talked to my mo in the middle of the night, who was shocked to find out that she'd had the EXACT same dream.
Then I woke up for real. God, I was disappointed. ^_^()
But you're right...reality is cold...for all the crap we put our characters through, the stories just seem to be more vibrant than our everyday schedules.
I liked your language, but I really liked the last two stanzas best. It'd be nice to see our dreamworlds..if only just for a short while.

Such a rich described poem... I love the... "mystical" admosphere created by that very same text... It really builds on the theme of the poem. Beautifully sculpted.

I loved this. So mystical and fantastical. I love these sort of poems, they really make you appreciate the power of dreams. Not to mention the fact that now I want to be transported to some mystical realm, lol. Anyway, I liked the rhyme scheme, it was different and effective. And I loved the expression 'crimson rain'. That was powerful. Keep up the great work :)

I just love fantasies, it is an escapism for me from reality. The words are beautiful, capturing prefectly the epic tale of the downfall of an unicorn. Simply amazing.
