You know you must continue this, don't you? Whether it be a companion piece to Slighted, or stand-alone, it's a great first chapter. However, I found that firt bit where she spoke of herself as "Queen of the Mountain" out of place. Why would she come up with that suddenly? I can understand that you'd like your readers to know the reason for the title, but mayhaps, it need not necessarily be in the first chapter? Just a humble opinion. =^.^=
