I really liked this poem, because I really connect with it (unfortunately). I wrote a blurb a while back about a caged bird, and this reminded me of it.
I liked your word choice, and I especially enjoyed your last line: "For I was born in captivity."
Overall, I think you did a great job with this! I really enjoyed it.

Aw, poor little birdy... _ This was pretty cute...but thinking that you're free while really in captivity? Sad. How can you make such short poems sound so good and be so beautiful? Great job.
