This is a beautiful poem, and you are truly a good poet. In fact, I think this is one of my favorites.

Some of the best phrases:

"floor the cooling ground"

"fall like silk on silk"

"all and one died 'neath the sun"

Really nice! The only stumble is "did," which you use a lot and is just a device to keep the meter.

I really love this poem. I love the rythme and everything about it. Oh I do wish I could write poems like this.

All mine come out dark and pensive though. Bleh. P
