Wow, awesome! This story is a study in uniqueness. I hardly ever see stories written in the second person, and almost never from the viewpoint of an old man. I can really identify with it, too, because I'm a middle child, the second of three girls. Right on!

I have middle child syndrome myself, so I understand.

This was a very nice, albeit short piece of writing. Very good work.
