Whe, I'm so happy I found you at FP.com!! DoF has a LOT more chapters here than on your site, you know! ;) Well, I'm not complaining since I absolutely adore your story! ^^
Anyways.. I'm not trying to be a nitpicker but I just saw a couple of mistakes I thought you might want to know about.. the first one is:
"Especially having to deal with said hangover having to be dealt with at 8 in the morning."
Wouldn't it be better to sayeither
"Especially having to deal with said hangover at 8 in the morning" or
"Especially when said hangover had to be dealt with at 8 in the morning."?
And the second one is:
“I don’t know,” I said as I opened the door and led the way out. “I would rather like to see the look on my face when she sees you ** me.”
Don't you mean "see the look on my *mother's* face"?
Well, just wanted to point those two things at you.. I really am into details, sorry. ;P

Wow... I just read the eight chapters you have up of this story , and...wow. It's so real, and interesting. Just...wow. Let me try to say something more than just 'wow'...

First off, I love the characters you've created, and the switching of the POVs between them; that really gives more insight into the story itself . Garrett is already a favorite of mine, but I think I like Holden the most; the alouf, quiet ones always got to me ;-). Keith is very interesting, too, though I'm definitely rooting for Holden over him to get with Garrett.
Adam is cool. Kelly is sweet . And Garrett's mom is annoying/very cold- which I'm sure you intended her to be .

Secondly, the relationships you've created betweenall of them are also great. The whole Holden being secretly in love with Garrett for years is very sweet . I also like that Garrett and Keith had a 'past' together, and how it all came to a 'boil' when they were reunited after college. And Adam's just the -best- best friend ever .

And lastly...their pasts... Just...I don't know. I can't even explain how I felt when Garrett was describing what he had gone through, just trying to find this 'perfect love' that he imagined. And Holden talking about his relationship disasters was also saddening. They really seem like two parts of a whole-- sort of like they belonged together, but hadn't been able to find each other until now .

You're really doing a perfect job with this story, and I'm very much anticipating the next chapter. I want to see what will happen between Holden and Garrett, once things calm down for them. And also how Keith will try to 'redeem' himself, if at all. :-)
