Mista Mugs 2004-04-29 . chapter 3
Great piece on traditions and their effects on people. I quite liked how you showed how memory is golden and reality brass...but I can't remember where I got that metaphor from...hm, this is going to bug me all day...maybe I made it up myself?
Well, anyway, this was a great poem.
Cheers.

"If butterfly you be, you can't act like the keeper"
O, great ending. Stuck out in my mind quite nicely.
I enjoyed this one as well.
Greatness wrapped in a package marked with the tag "Better Than Toffee", I think that sums up my thouht process quite nicely.
Cheers.

Heh, I like it. I'm not sure I completely get it, but I think I may be close to figuring it out. Damn you English110! You taught me nothing!
But, it was a great poem.
Cheers.

I am sorry about your Thanksgiving woes.
And yeah, your dad and brother suck.
Especially your brother.
Lazy mofo.
I'll come pay him a visit, and this time, I won't frogret my axe...
Alot of people feel this way, you know. People miss the holidays in such fashions and regret when things grow old.
That didn't make much sense. Sorry.
Good poem. Better than mine. You rock.

There, formalities aside, REVIEWICUS MAXIMUS!
Well, this is oddly familiar. Maybe a Weezer song perhaps? Not too hard to know what it's about. There's no middle ground with some things, it's one or the other. You've got to be what you claim to be, and not everything else in between. That's what it seems like to me. It's hard to put into words exactly, especially in my crude, vulgar vocabulary.
Very good poem. Very good poem.

I'm gonna be honest here. That didn't make a lick of sense to me.
Lots of turtles and gypsies and such.
I think I have an idea of what it is, but I won't say it, because I'll be wrong and then you'll take me to school on it and I'll feel stupid.
Interesting, but good. Mind-numbing, but entertaining. Vivid and imaginative. And confusing at points.
Ah, poetry...
