This is some great work. Very good use of your metaphor here--it's the perfect representation of what you've tried to draw yourself into.

This one is good and very emotional. It reminds me of what I feared when I made friends after many long years of being a complete outcast. It is similar to one of the poems I wrote "False Dreams."

I think that there is a lot more you could say, but ya don't have to listen to me. It just seems like it should have continued instead of ending with "like you" It doesn't really flow.
