| MindTear 2003-12-13 ch 1, | abuseVery depressed. During the holidays is when the most people commit suicide... I truly hope you aren't contemplating it. It is a new experience to me, reading all these peoms about people cutting themselves. I, too, have been depressed for many years, but my release of my frustration has been writing...basically stream of consciousness. Very deep and dark poem you have here, but your descriptions are beautifully perfect. The transition of colors is perfect, using only colors to describe and hint at other things. I love poems where the author doesn't exactly come right out and say things... subtlety is a rare element. (Frequently I find myself forced to take away some of the subtlety in my poems in order for people to understand any of it. Yours has the perfect balance.) All in all, a very eloquent poem, and an intriguing buildup. in stages. lol. at least someone cares. (i'm so sick of those reviews that just say wow. great poem. and don't go into any detail about what was good about it. it's like they didn't care enough to fully review the poem or try to connect with the author of it at all.
