The way I see it, Michael loves his son enough to stop what he's doing. Though there are other means of doing so than killing him, death is the most definite and raw way he could choose. And Roland is a friend who is very (maybe too much) loyal to his friend. He tells Michael that he will go to Hell but does he think that he won't, even though he supplied the weapon? And what if Michael is mistaken and his son is just gay, not a gay rapist? It seems that he is being maybe too irrational to be real but I guess most men would become irrational if they saw their sons having sex with other men. Much praise again. |
