Oh, this was just superb. The choice of words is beautiful, and the rhyming adds flavor to the piece. I absolutely love it!

This poem is melodic, and well, haunting. It seems to have sort of a gothic (the old kind) and Native American feel in the imagery you provide. I really like this and the word choice is impressive!

The rhyming kind of got repetitive in this, and it forced some of the words in...but the descriptions were very nice, and the style of the writing was also really good. Sorry to be so critical, maybe I'm just tired. =)

bravo! this is absolutey phenomenal! i love the ancient medieval ring to the language (albeit it meant looking up every other word :P j/k), it added SO much to the tone of the piece overall. it was like hearing the voice of an old ghost speaking the words of the poem out loud - truly haunting, and very powerful. love the title, too, by the way. "they stole thine eyes and burned them blind" ~ great line (there were many of them). AWESOME job, kudos!
