Pretty good "guide" to fight scenes. Granted, you sometimes tend to simplify things; when I read your section on how "Unlike the movies, people who are shot do not get back up..." I nodded at first in approval, and then thought of a couple of real-life examples to the opposite. There are exceptions to nearly every rule.

However, you do a good job of talking about fight scenes. Many a good story has been hurt by poorly written action sequences-and that includes professional authors like, oh, I dunno, Harry Turtledove and even (*gasp*) J.R.R. Tolkien.
