Oh, I adore these! You have a gift for rhyme, and the images that these build of your cats are just too perfect. The only difficulty I find are one or two places where your meter is off a bit, but that hardly makes them less entertaining.I have four cats myself, and your tree climber and Garfield remind me of two of them (Velcro [6lb] and Saber [18lb... who also has not 'reached his butt in years']).Thank you for writing these wonderful poems. I love all your poems about your exceptional kitties. Yet the first one sounds so much like my newest addition - Katie Kitty II. She's a little white tuxedo who thinks she owns the roost - even though she's the youngest of my five cats! ^..^

Yeah, I've noticed my cats love me especially around mealtime :) And as old cats, they seem to want mealtime ALL the time (little bits all through the day). So I have got lotsa lovin' *G*

Did I forget to mention that I love these names?! Phrixus Purrlington... Seems like a nice kitty, stealing seats and all. I laughed out loud while reading your Author's Note and then visualizing this scene. Sounds like the kind of thing one of my previous cats might do.
