Wow. You have laid down the foundation for a great story. The romantic situations between Charlie and Mark, and the way Charlie is going to handle her father's new girlfriend hook the reader into wanting to read more. You should definetley keep working on this story when you have time. Now, is there going to be a love-triangle between Charlie, Rich, and Mark?
