I love this poem... it's such a powerful piece that provokes such strong imagery. You make it possible to picture the girl in the poem perfectly... without every describing any specific physical features, just her emotions and... wow, it's great. I love the metaphors of the balloon and innocent child... very creative, and oh so heartwrenching. i love the first stanza particularily, those first few lines are.. wow. Awesome, awesome poem.
