Your right it is a different view point. Like when I woke up this morning all the snow had melted and it was Christmas but the feeling wasn't there. Thankfully with a few candy canes and my family that feeling didn't last. Very insitful and great imagry. I love the form of the poem. Great job.

I kinda of felt like that at the beginning of christmas eve.It just didn't feel like christmas but when we gathered with my family and exchanged presents I got into the holiday spirit..I guess it was just in time.
