It isn't a cliff hanger ending, it's an ending, a finish, no story is ever truly done so people would try to get as close as they can

As much as I love the cliffhanger ending, I'm also dying to know what happens. This was very well written, and I'd love to see more chapters.

That was really cool. It is a nice little piece of fiction with an incredible story. I especially enjoyed how much the wording created the images in my head. And the way that you somewhat leave it hanging at the end, not knowing whether the hero will be able to go back to living the way that he had.
