Very nicely done rhymes... and the meter was excellent too... this reminds me of the Titans in the Greek mythology who were trapped down under by Zeus...

This very much can relate to being a song, but I enjoy it as a poem deeply. What you say has truth in it.

I would say curse. Life is living and dying. I'll stop there before I write and full-blown essay.
Good poem though. I've learn if you don't want it to rhyme, it's going to the opposite.

*silent applaud* That was good, and your ability the rhyme, or just words flow like that, is uncanny. IMMORTAL also made me reflect on my recent reading materials. Anyone, mind me saying so if you prefer, but I believe that I'm going to be reflecting on these verses too.

This poem gives a great way to look at the blessed curse of being immortal. I've thought about this subject before and I barely looked at it in a bad way. Now if I was given the impossible opportunity of becoming immortal, I might not be hasty to make my choice. Great job.
