I love the metaphorical meaning of this... I get kind of obsessed with flowers when I'm in charge of them. I have a new sunflower garden :) and my first bud has come up! I have proudly named him Pretzel. He's very cute.

Very subtle difference between 'your rose' and 'a rose' - that, I particularly noticed. This is simple and clear. Saying 'rose-scented water' seems a little redundant, though - what else would it smell of?

That poem was strange...I didn't really see what you were getting at. I liked it, but I think it was *whoosh*...over my head.
