The first line struck me hard, and immediately captured 100% of my attention, and the last line gave it an ending that left quite an impact on me. And the vivid imagery of it all is simply stunning. The only constructive criticism I might have is for this line: And wayward shrubs Howls of freedom, howls of space, Depending on how you intended that line to be read with the rest of the poem, it should be 'howl'. I especially love the last line. It rings so true, and not just for this instance. -not exactly |
