. . . ? You finally lost me, but you know what, I don't care, I still like this poem. Something unique about it.

Are you trying to be ironic? I'm not too sure, since the poem rejoices in nothing except death.
And I can't quite get the flow of ideas in the 4th stanza from decay and back to life again; the finishing "life" seems sound in all the stanzas except that one though.
But "lunatic" in death? Maybe it's your own irony you're talking about.
