A little confusing (like I couldn't always tell who was talking) but okay

the first line was unbelievable, breathtaking. but, for a story with such a powerful, incredible begining, it went severly down-hill toward the end. the story seemed to start out as being purely emoitonal, yet it ended engrained with uncessary, bitter reality.
nevertheless, i'm glad i read it.
