I read all of the poems you have posted up here earlier today and I must say this one just jumped out and grabbed me. Whenever I read a poem I really like, it just grabs me in, and this one really snatched me. I think the rhyme on several of the lines just emphasizes the imagery of night and abandonment.

I remember reading this at school when you first wrote this ... I still don't get it. LOL

I do not know what your real style is (i havent gotten to your other stuff yet) but I do like how this is short and sweet. Well, not sweet, considering what it is talking about. I do not really know what you are trying to get across: there are many ways that this can be taken. Nonetheless, I must say well done.

Hi. This poem is sort of weird. When you read it, you don't exactly get what is going on, so it leaves a lot to the imagination. I like it.
