| b likes to write 2004-07-28 ch 1, | abuseI had never really thought much about how a widow would look at valentines day, this poem is a fresh point of view. Very mournful, but somehow does not come off as bitter. Shows good taste, nice work! |
| ByFireAndMoonlight 2004-07-17 ch 1, | abusewow. I say that not only because this poem was strong, but I'm starting to think we might have a phyic link or somthing! We agree on so much threw poetry, I mean wow. So yeah. |
| Lauren Raven 2004-07-15 ch 1, | abuseYeah, I hate Valentine's Day too. I've never had anyone to share it with. But when I do it'll be the best holiday ever, lol. I'm such a hypocrite. Anyway, I really like your stuff; great job. Keep writing as always. |
| Draugiks 2004-07-10 ch 1, | abuseHm. Didn't feel it. Most (good) poems are supposed to make the reader feel as if it's the author talking. I can't really imagine you as a widow. Sorry. No can do. Oh. Is this a misspelling? "Black I will wear Every day Ever night" My favorite line: "A widow by right" |
| tiger lily8 2004-02-09 ch 1, | abuseVery dark for a Valentines poem. I liked it, only thing was that I felt that some of the one liners like Lover jarred the rythmn a bit. Nice one! |
| The Unbreakable 2004-01-26 ch 1, | abuseI was never a big van of Valentine's Day either, which is why I liked it so much. Good work. |
| breakdown in the waiting ro... 2004-01-23 ch 1, | abuseAh! Yay! I love this. *click faves* By the way, thank you for the reviews- finally, someone that understands I wasn't attacking *all* Christians in "Worthy of Words." :) I appreciated that immensely. My sister's birthday is on Valentine's Day. . .that's what it means to me. Not much into the mushy gushy commericial crap. -Jessica |
