Hmm, that was somewhat simple, but it was okay. I like that comparison of your friends and monkeys. It made me giggle :D

Any poem that dares to use as it's opening line and title the most overused line in all of fiction, well, it gets kudos in my book.
The poem itself is pretty good, and the message is pretty straight forward. The writer yearns for brighter days, better times. That sort of thing.
(I hope that sounded good, cause I can't really do the anaylitical thing)
