Remember the scene where he was green and floating towards the light, then the shadow got in the way, so he jerked back?From what I gathered, basically he was heading towards the afterlife, but the shadow planned to intercept him and ...I'm not sure. Eat him, perhaps. In a non-perverted sense. Which would explain his new-found hunger towards the passing humans. I have a feeling that the shadow needed to eat a certain ammount of souls to become 'material', and he was the last one. But he fought, and the shadow didn't catch his soul before it became disconnected from his body.Correct me if I'm wrong, Nieni. ^^;

Well, that was -definitely- unexpected.But I think I can see where this is going now. Very interesting indeed.It's reminding me more than ever of 'Rose Red' and even a little of 'Thirteen Ghosts', and yet it still has that original flair that you some how manage to give all your stories. I assure you I did not see that coming. I can't believe you killed him! (Such a cruel author-mistress you are) I do see, though, that Brian is now the same as "Mr. Shadow" (or so I deduce from his new-found hunger) And perhaps I do have a dirty mind, but if I do I am obviously not alone as MISSled (in a review down below me) thought the same thing! I hope now that Brian shares the same status with "Mr. Shadow" (and assuming said shadow cannot now devour his soul) that I can look forward to dirty, corrupt and depraved horrors to come? I bow down to you author-mistress and fervently pray for you to continue.

OMG i got freaked out! really the mom scene and teh dead pete scene was scary O.o and now he's a shadow! ek! although i had to laugh at the That didn't seem like a very -ghost- thing to think hehehe sorry..*cough* right i'll leave you now

I know I know, I mess everything up haha, but man...that was a really creepy chapter...I wouldn't want to be in brian's shoes...omg just thinking of that gives me the creeps. EEP!
