 Aki 2005-07-04 . chapter 1 Wow. I love it; I think you could publish it, like in a magazine or something. Though maybe it would be easier to read if you indicated the knife's thoughts, with italics or something like that. Thanks for the great story. :) |
 SilentSpring 2005-04-02 . chapter 1I love the imagination of this story! I should read it to my brother...maybe he'll do the dishes more often. XD |

 ligaya 2004-06-02 . chapter 1Brilliant! Brilliant and simply amazing. Not my most favorite of utensils, yet a relevant character in household silverwhere collections. Yes. the knife! what a fitting revenge indeed! hopefully the woman isnt too hurt.. like rust poison or something. but it still would be her fault now would it? *snicker* but a definite plus to my fave list |
 Museworks 2004-03-29 . chapter 1"Bleeding rust"--that's phenomenal...
Ooh, that blade has *personality*! I thought it was funny, right up until the last line. Then I was scared.
Hey... you know, I'm always singing random snippets from Oklahoma as I run around the house. Maybe I should avoid the silverware drawer for the next couple days... j/k :)
It's full of great spice and personality. Write more!

 charliegirl2 2004-02-27 . chapter 1 Wow. A slightly homicidal knife. I love it.
Very nicely written; the anger and resentment are very clear and understandable.
I have been stirred to be nicer to my knives now. ;)
Altogether very very good. I enjoyed it.
Ciao! charliegirl2. |
 S.M Graham 2004-02-27 . chapter 1 Amazingly good work! This was such a unique idea, giving life to a utensil and tying in ideas that related all other utensils to reality or some sort of social community. Very good showing! I felt so sympathetic for that knife! As well, the phrasing of his opression and anger was well put. That lady got her just desserts! Nice work. |
 Kaol 2004-01-28 . chapter 1 oh, very nice. lovely indeed. you don't see much work like this, and really, there should be more of it. i love how you personified the knife. and now i'll feel guilty if i just leave a knife in the sink... ^^;
one thing though: should this really be in the fantasy section? i would think General would be more suitable.

 esotericblood 2004-01-27 . chapter 1That was such a unique idea for a story! You did it very well, too. I really felt for that knife, and I'm glad he got his revenge. What a yucky old lady :P |
 Animagess 2004-01-27 . chapter 1Wonderful example of the 'oppressed inanimate object' short story. Some awkward phrasing but the smooth style does lend it an air of professional technique. The ending avoids cliched melodrama by merely cutting the woman instead of killing her (which I was expecting). Great job! This was very entertaining. |
