Sadly, hauntingly beautiful. The idea of the shadow is great, isn't it really like that when you have lost a loved one, that somehow their presence seems to linger palely, fuelling your melancholy remembrance. The parallelisms, the juxtapositions of now - used to, the comparison shadow-heart in the end, the tone of finality and sadness all work extremely well. This poem is absolutely beautiful and well-done.
