This is a powerful poem that is very fitting for the majestic animal that it graces. It reminds me of a story that I read as a child, and the wonder that it made me feel.

Beautiful...the almost olde English gives almost a ballad-like feel to it. Also, the visual details are quite nice, very descriptive.
I must say though, it leaves me wondering if it is a description of the wolf and its thoughts, or if it is being said TO the wolf. I'll have to read it again. It's not perfectly clear, but it's still quite powerful.
