I read this, and then, being my own forgetful self, I forgot to review it.
It's not a story I would've expected from you, but even if it's a-typical, I still enjoyed it very much. Your other stories have a certain "heaviness" to them, a depth I can't quite put into words. I'm not sure, but it could be that if this story had been written by someone else, it'd leave me with an entirely different feeling. The way it is though, I had you and your other stories constantly in the back of my mind, so that might've influenced my judgment a bit. If this one had had a different author's name on it, I might've taken it at face value and dismissed it more easily than I did now.

Am I making any kind of sense here?

its really quite nice. nice and flowy. short and sweet. the kind of thing that is pleasant to read after watching a shocking movie or something
