nice change of perspective on this one. I like the change of soda taste as well. Bitter and yet at the end it tastes just right. You have a knack of writing so I can almost too easily picture exactly what you are describing. It is always the little things that we overlook that come back to haunt us.

This is absolutely incredible! Very sad and in a way, I don't know what way, reassuring. That word just pops into my head.
