Although vague with information, the poem contains very strong language, allowing the persona to express its emotion which, clearly, is resentful towards the 'Black Haired Boy.'
The use of enjambment of the repeated phrase 'then ** me / one last time' at the climax of the poem is key to the poem's effect: without it, the poem would fail. It also hints that the persona has not forgiven the subject of the poem, nor shall the persona ever do so.
At the conclusion of the poem we find ourselves asking, 'Has the persona learnt a lesson?' What are the poet's intentions? Indeed, shall we ever know?

I remember reading this before sometime, and it captured me back then, and still does...seems full of raw emotion. It is damn dark though, but i guess i can relate all too well with it. Guess that makes me a dark person? Anyway, thanks for the plug in your bio, i think I'm gonna need it :D
