Yeah, I've given up on believing in the whole aspect or idea of God a long time ago. It's just not there for me. Hopefully you will find the answers and exactly what you are seeking, I'm sure you will find it. This is a good piece, very powerful.

I've asked some of these questions...and others...and got no answers...I'm beginning to think invisiblebob is a troll but maybe not...if not I'll take on his logic any day.
Anyway...this is a good poem. Rhyming without rythm is tacky, but you've done so naturally enough except obligations/limitations at the end, which grates. The question couplets, especially "Bless me" by itself on a line to follow, are really powerful. I'm impressed.

Hey. I like this. Reflective and beutiful. I can relate to feelings like this. It really means something. 'Give me some hope / Give me some strength / Give me power / to avenge' i like that. You write from the heart, not because it's cool. i respect that. Well done. Beautiful.

He does love you. Look at the moon tonight; he made her just for you; look at the trees; He shaped them with you in mind. Has anything good ever happened in your life? What makes you think He's responsible for the pain and that something/ someone else creates the joys? He died for you so that you could live with Him forever. It doesn't mean you won't have bad experiences because we still live in a broken world, but it means that He will be with you through it all. Think about the apostles: they were hunted down and killed, but that didn't make them wonder about God because they knew the Truth. That He came to spread True Love and Hope throughout the world and that He doesn't want us to suffer. He has given humans free will which means we are allowed to hurt other people and ourselves and he won't pull out His standard god-sized ruler to spank us for it. He did set consequences for our actions when he created the universe but those are of both kinds: good and bad and it isn't as if He's waiting for us to slip so He can beat us. (He's not a sadist; He's the loving Father.)
I like the diction of the poem though; it doesn't sound cheesy but expresses your emotions and thoughts. It isn't awkward which is awesome!

Very nice, very bittersweet. I've thought about that a lot over the past few years... though I've given up on God and all that... so.. I don't know... I liked the poem :)
