Great poem. I like the river analogy, metapor, I can never get those things right. Good expression of emotion. Nice job.
And thanks for your advice on 'Obey the Master'. I think it added nicely to the poem. I didn't intend for it to be resentful of religion, just make people aware that religion can sometimes make you blind to what's really going on on the inside.
