First off, let me applaud you for your wonderful word choice. Each line of the haiku portrays a very intriguing persepctive of love, and the haiku simply conveys a great sense love and yet also conflict. "Hispid embraces", a most interesting line, the word "hispid" I have never heard of until redaing this haiku :)

very clashing conflict and such makes me all ambivilant inside. Adherant to the saying "Good art poses questions"

MM...the first line instantly programs the hot, sensuous confusion being the very substance of love. And the title amplifies the idea of perlexity, of things so diverse fusing together. Well done! And just in time for Valentine's, what a lovely holiday, sure.

I'm not sure what hispid means... But I like the contrast in the 2nd line ^^
