You are completely right about that being so sweet! But it is the good kind of sweet, which a touch of humor that kept me grinning like a goof throughout it all, lol. (in fact, I am still grinning like a goof)

though at the beginning, i kept getting some mixed signals of Sherlock's age...for a while I thought he was going to be like *cough* elderly-ish *cough* ...but yea, other than that stupid mix up, this story was Something Sweet. ;)

my first response when i finished reading this was to squeal "oh! happiness!" i love the new years' resolutions and how they came into play. i also heart jock/geek stories. the insecurities of both Sherlock and Basil were wonderful. i think it adorable that both thought they weren't good enough for the other.

suffice it to say, i quite enjoyed the fluff and am glad you wrote it....i'll stop babbling now.
