I think I come under rule #5 with my story! Other than that, short but funny! There were more obscure rules you could have come up with for more effect, but it was amusing as is nonetheless!

Hah! I actually laughed out loud while reading this! Ah, remember more often than not in rule 5, someone will deny their gayness! But we all know they're gay anyway and so does everyone else (because gay people rule).

*Is laughing* That was funny! That's totally the framework for every Yaoi story I've ever read. You managed to hit the nail on the head.

Hmm, very interesting and humorous. You sure pointed out a lot of basic 'ingredients' and even cliches that make up a standard slash fiction... but I digress, sometimes, slash fiction can verge on monotony- some of them can even be boring.

Though it is funny and pokes at the redundant concepts of slash fiction, I have to say that I'm a rebel when it comes to this- sometimes, rules are meant to be broken. =P

It's a nice read- it's a shame a lot of slash stories follow a certain format without creating any sense of originality- something all writers should strive for.

Too true. Well, some of these don't always apply, I've read the occasional good slash fiction that doesn't submit to all these rules, but quite a few definitely ring a bell. Write on.
