This chapter gave me a glimpse that Tyrantis is capable of thought, however crude... I dont know why that octopus suddenly appeared though... And why would there be a dead elephant at the zoo? They normally remove an animal before it grows really old and sickly...

Oh yeah, there's this one line that confused me: "The eggs grew and grew, as did the babies inside them." - Er... Growing eggs? What's that, the shells expand or something?
