See... that's such a different view than mine of the rain. A sadder, more melancholy feel, but it was well expressed and I like how you moved through the poem. It's sunny... it cools... the rain comes... the feelings. Nice.

Good grief, I'm going to cry again. This is so true... I love the "The skies had opened above me/So rain could fall from grace" line. You have enormous (or ginormous, as my friend Alicia says) talent.

Sooner or later the rain will cease to fall and the sky will brighten up. We all go through this patch and many of us are still going through it, but when its over im sure it will be one of the most refreshing, beautiful experiances of our lies.
If you want the rainbow you have to put up with the rain.
