This sounds like a proulouge. It would be nice if you created a longer story from this, I think it would make for a very interesting read...I really like it, but it makes me want more. Like what happens to her next? Does she ever get off drugs? Does she kill anyone else? And what do the characters even look like?
This is well written, good job. It works as a short story, but experiment. See if it'll work as a longer story.

Hey it's a good story but a little longer maybe.. you know it's sad.. but the girl DID KILL someone!! And she was bad.. smoking drugs and stuff.Bad person...well it was really sad she should got let off well maybe not i dunno but good story keep writing!

My only regret: this went by way to fast.

Otherwise the story rocks! This is so realistic that I thought it was really the story of your life, until the ending. Your writing style is very simplistic, but it works, and you tell a good story.
